FCI Standard; Rottweiler

PUPPIES

Eligible gradings:  VP (Very Promising), P (Promising), S (Sufficient), DQ (Disqualified), EX (Excused).  Placements 1-4.  Winner is eligible for Best Fe/Male Puppy

3-6 month class (male, female):  Puppies must be between 3 and 6 months old on the date of the show. .

6-9 month class (male, female):  Puppies must be between 6 and 9 months old on the date of the show.  .

9-12 month class (male, female):  Puppies must be between 9 and 12 months old on the date of the show. 

YOUTH

Eligible gradings:  V (Excellent), SG (Very Good), G (Good), DQ (Disqualified), EX (Excused).  Placements 1-4.  Winner is eligible for Youth Sieger/in.

12-18 month class (male, female):  Youth dogs must be between 12 and 18 months old on the date of the show.  

18-24 month class (male, female):  Youth dogs must be between 18 and 24 months old on the date of the show.  

ADULTS

Eligible gradings:  Eligible gradings:  V (Excellent), SG (Very Good), G (Good), DQ (Disqualified), EX (Excused).  Placements 1-4.  Winner is eligible for Sieger/in.

Open (male, female)  For Rottweilers 24 months or over.

Bred by Exhibitor (male, female)  For Rottweilers 24 months or over that are bred by and owned by the same person.

Working (male, female)  For Rottweilers 24 months or over with a recognized working (IPO) title.

Champion (male, female)  For Rottweilers 24 months or over with a recognized Championship/Sieger(in) title (AKC, CKC, or FCI member club).  

Veteran (male, female) For Rottweilers 7 years or older on the date of the show.

NON-REGULAR CLASSES

Kennel Group: Three or more dogs bred by the kennel owner and registered with the same kennel name. Dogs do not need to be owned by the same person.  Award is presented to the kennel owner.  Written critiques are not given. 1st through 4th place will be awarded.

Brood Bitch:  Entered by the owner of the brood bitch. The brood bitch and at least two of her offspring (from separate litters, not repeat breedings of the same combination) must appear in the ring. The class is to be evaluated on the merits of the offspring. Written critiques are not given. 1st through 4th place will be awarded.

Stud Dog:  Entered by the owner of the stud dog. The stud dog and at least two of his offspring (from separate litters, not repeat breedings of the same combination) must appear in the ring. The class is to be evaluated on the merits of the offspring. Written critiques are not given. 1st through 4th place will be awarded.
